2012 East Coast Howard Wyman Sheep Industry Leadership School The 2012 Howard Wyman Sheep Industry Leadership School will focus on educating the sheep industry participants about the non-traditional marketing of lamb. The school will be held in the Eastern United States for the first time and will highlight markets close to several metropolitan areas, specifically New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and the Eastern seaboard. The school will discuss certain customs of various countries that will help to explain some aspects of raising lambs for the non-traditional lamb market. This information can assist any sheep ranch or lamb feedlot operation, regardless of their location, in planning alternative marketing options to increase profitability.
